Consummate entertainer Bobby Darin (1936-1973) is making a movie about his life. He’s volatile, driven by the love of performing, ambition, perfectionism, and belief that he’s living on borrowed time. He begins in the Bronx: a fatherless lad learning music and dance from his mom. His career starts slowly, then “Splish Splash” puts him at the top of the charts and on “Bandstand.” He wants to be an entertainer, not a pop star, so he aims for the Copacabana; then it’s on to the movies, where he meets and marries Sandra Dee. After, it’s balancing career, health, marriage and family life, balances he doesn’t always keep. Throughout, conversations with his boyhood self give him perspective.

THE CHRISTMAS WISH stars Neil Patrick Harris as an orphan who returns to his grandparents’ home after the death of his grandfather. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the first film in the Harry Potter series based off the novels by J.K. Rowling. Rowena Assay is a muckraking broadcaster for a Untrained York tract. When her untruth about a closeted gay Senator who preaches division values is spiked, she quits and in good time finds herself investigating the sickening murder of a boyhood friend. Her patron had been dumped close to ad exec Harrison Hill, so he’s Rowena’s prime have suspicions about. Rowena gets a burglary at the ad operation as a temp, and she’s a moment the remonstrate over of Hill’s attentions. She’s helped in her stratagem by Miles Haley, a sweetheart at the letterhead who has a private thing quest of her. Person, it seems, has secrets, including Hill, who ought to keep his affairs from his woman - her paper money fuels his lifestyle. Regicide will out?
