In 1866, Kansas, the American refined war has even-handed finished and the armies disbanded. The structure of the West begins, and in 1872, the reborn city of Hedge City is ruled at hand violence and shootings. The Irishman Ford Hatton (Errol Flynn) is a squire adapted to these days and a time is conducting a heap of pioneers, including Abbie Irving (Olivia de Havilland) and her lean on brother, to Dodge Town. Once in the big apple, Wade is invited to be the shire sheriff, and an event makes him consent to the thesis. He tries to unclutter up the beef town, ruled close to the formidable outlaw Jeff Surrett (Bruce Cabot) and his join against, with the tolerate of the considerate local people.
